I have systematically pursued drawing since 2001. The way through mainly black-and-white spectre with addition of some further materials and media have a logic in my personal development. The possibility to create short forms in shapes or their abstraction is the base for expression to the given problem for me.

The theme in my work is closely connected to humans and their existence on this planet. Interweaving of people with nature on one hand and the anonymous experience of an individual in a city on the other. Most of my works are of meditative character and my expression lies in the lyrical capture of the magical atmosphere of a moment. My work was influenced to a large extent bymy study stay in the U.S. and an intership in Utrecht, Netherlands.

In the last three years I have mainly created large monochromatic drawings finished with industrial foil or of collages combining coloured papier mâché and metal foil.
